1. Information We Collect

SmartApp Technology Group ("SmartApp", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by SkillGrad EdTech and Technology Private Limited, collects information necessary to deliver enterprise software, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, and professional technology consulting.

Personal & Identity Data: Full name, business email address, corporate telephone number, job title, and organization name.
Technical & Telemetry Data: IP addresses, browser specifications, operating system telemetry, API request logs, latency metrics, and access timestamps.
Transactional & Billing Data: Invoicing details, GSTIN/tax identification numbers, corporate billing addresses, and payment transaction metadata (PCI-DSS compliant via authorized gateways).
Customer Enterprise Data: Tenant application data uploaded to our SaaS platforms, encrypted at rest via AES-256 and in transit via TLS 1.3.

2. How We Utilize Enterprise Information

We process personal and organization data strictly under legitimate enterprise business grounds, contractual necessity, and statutory legal obligations.

To provision, configure, and maintain customer SaaS instances, API microservices, and dedicated server environments.
To execute identity authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and security monitoring.
To deliver mission-critical platform alerts, SLA updates, system status notices, and technical support ticketing responses.
To continuously train and optimize proprietary AI models exclusively on non-sensitive, aggregated, anonymized telemetry without customer data leakage.

3. Data Security & Storage Architecture

We implement zero-trust cloud infrastructure and defense-in-depth architectural protocols to safeguard customer data against unauthorized access, destruction, or disclosure.

Encryption Standards: 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) at rest, and Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) for all in-transit traffic.
Tenant Isolation: Strict logical and database schema partitioning preventing cross-tenant data contamination.
Vulnerability & Penetration Audits: Automated daily vulnerability scans and bi-annual independent third-party penetration testing.
Access Controls: Strict Least-Privilege Access (LPA) policies, mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA), and immutable audit access logging.

4. Third-Party Disclosures & International Transfers

SmartApp does not sell, rent, or trade enterprise or user personal data to any third-party marketing entities under any circumstances.

Authorized Sub-Processors: Tier-1 cloud hosting providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), secure payment gateways, and transactional communication services operating under strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
Legal & Statutory Mandates: We may disclose data when strictly required by enforceable government summons, court orders, or applicable Indian laws (Information Technology Act, 2000 and DPDP Act, 2023).

5. Data Subject Rights & Grievance Redressal

In accordance with applicable data protection frameworks including GDPR, CCPA, and India DPDP Act 2023, authorized representatives may exercise their statutory data rights at any time.

Right to Access & Portability: Request an encrypted copy of all customer records stored across our platform instances.
Right to Rectification: Correct any inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated business or account details.
Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request complete purge of tenant data upon contract termination, subject to mandatory statutory tax and audit retention requirements.
